Join the Cohd Team
Cohd is growing, and we’re looking for folks who are as committed to the mission of Creating Elevaters™ as we are.
Right now, there are two ways to join. We are hiring a full-time Head of Business Development to bring Elevate to more organizations. And applications are open for our 2027 CCF Cohort, where coaches become Cohd Certified Facilitators and join our coach community.

About Cohd
At Cohd, we partner with companies to build teams of Elevaters™: people with the skill and intention to continuously elevate themselves and the people around them. When teams show up to work with that call to action and the tools to act on it, we get more fulfilled humans, more harmonious teams, and an unparalleled capacity for business impact.
Cohd stands for Cultures of Human Development. We’re a cohort-based leadership development company working with founder-led organizations that are serious about building cultures where people grow. Our Elevate Program pairs a practical leadership toolkit with live coaching and real practice.
Over the past five years, we’ve refined our programs and our business model. We’ve grown almost entirely through word of mouth and now we’re ready to scale. This means more organizations, more cohorts, and more Elevaters™ out in the world.
We’re a small team, and we practice what we teach. We grow in community. We show up wholeheartedly. Whether you join us to bring Elevate to new organizations or to facilitate it, you’ll be doing this work alongside people who are committed to it.
Our Values
Connectedness.
The Ethic. How we act, how we treat others, and how our choices ripple outward.
Everything is linked — no action, decision, or relationship exists in isolation. Connectedness means recognizing that we are part of a greater whole and honoring that truth by acting with integrity. The choices we make in business and in life ripple outward, shaping the people, communities, and systems we touch.
Wholeheartedness.
The Posture. Showing up fully, with honesty, courage, and vulnerability. Authentic engagement.
Wholeheartedness is about bringing your full self — courage, vulnerability, and honesty — into the room. It’s choosing to engage with openness and integrity, even when it feels risky. Wholehearted leaders model authenticity and create space for others to do the same.
Growth in Community.
The Process. Development that happens with others, not alone. Mutual support, challenge, and celebration.
We grow best when we grow together. Growth in Community is about pursuing development not as a solo journey but alongside others — giving and receiving support, challenging one another, and celebrating progress collectively. Community turns growth into something lasting.
Flow.
The State. Alignment between clarity and trust. Where energy moves with ease.
Flow is alignment in action — knowing where we want to go, setting clear intentions, and trusting the process. It’s the state where purpose meets presence: we’re immersed, energized, and moving forward without force. Flow reminds us that progress comes from clarity and trust, not control.

We’re looking for coaches who are as committed to creating Elevaters™ as we are. In 2027, we’re welcoming five new coaches to our team.
This is a certification program, but it’s really the beginning. Over 10 months, you’ll go through Elevate yourself, learn to facilitate it, and build the business foundation to bring it to your own clients. When you finish, you’re a Cohd Certified Facilitator and part of our coaching team.
-
A Win-Win Business Model. Elevate is a 10-month program, so you work with cohorts long enough to see real change. And when organizations witness that impact, they want more of it. 95% of our clients have gone on to become multi-cohort, multi-year partnerships. That means you’re not just making an impact on individual leaders, you’re able to make an impact on the business itself, cohort after cohort.
For you, it means the stability of real, long-term client relationships and the kind of low churn that’s powerful when building your coaching business.
Go beyond the C-suite. Most coaching stops at the executive team. With Cohd, you have an offering that delivers real value to the C-suite and the rest of the organization. Leaders want their people involved because as more team members go through Elevate, the impact compounds.
Work for yourself, never by yourself. You run your own practice and choose how much you take on. But you get a proven curriculum, the technology to deliver it seamlessly, a team to learn with, and a partner helping you find the work.
-
We’re looking for people who want to be on a team. You might be an executive or leadership coach or someone who has spent years developing people inside an organization. What matters most is that you believe in creating Elevaters™ and want to do this work alongside others who do too.
You’ll need:
A coaching credential, or equivalent experience in coaching, therapy, organizational development, or L&D
A learner mindset
A passion for supporting folks at all levels within an organization
Bonus points if you have:
Current clients or organizations who’d be a fit for Cohd programming
Experience facilitating groups or cohorts
Experience working inside or with leadership teams
-
Most certification programs end with a credential. You gain access to a virtual network, and you’re on your own.
Cohd works differently. When you’re certified, you join our team. Not as a full-time employee, but fully in the flow with us. That means you’re in our weekly team meetings, part of our rhythms, and growing alongside the rest of our coaches. We expect you to show up, and we show up for you.
-
Our coaches earn a share of revenue from every cohort they facilitate. When Cohd brings in the client, you facilitate and earn 65%. When you bring in your own client, you earn 75%.
Cohd is committed to ongoing business development, and we share those opportunities with our coaching team. We also support you in building your own book of business. When you have a prospective client, we work with you through the sales process to bring them into Cohd. You’re not selling alone.
-
You choose how many cohorts you facilitate. Run a few cohorts alongside an existing practice, or make Cohd the center of your work.
Each cohort meets weekly for 90 minutes, and ten cohorts is considered a full practice.
-
The heart of the CCF Program is the 38-week Elevate curriculum. You’ll experience every module and learn to deliver it yourself. Each week of the CCF Program follows the same simple rhythm:
Learn the Elevate content.
Build your personal delivery playbook.
Practice delivering it and receive real-time feedback.
Expect to devote about 25 hours a month to the CCF program.
Alongside the core curriculum:
Tech & Systems Onboarding so you’re fluent in our learning portal and business systems.
Business plan development so you know how you’ll build your business.
Shadowing. You’ll sit in on a live Elevate cohort with an experienced facilitator, and you’ll have a Cohd facilitator shadowing your first cohort in order to provide live support and feedback.
-
The cohort begins in early February 2027. Coaches can begin working with clients in June 2027.
-
Stay engaged. Once you have completed the CCF training, there is no annual fee to keep your certification. Instead, continued certification is contingent on coaches using the tools, committing to the team’s weekly rhythms (where we learn from each other and stay sharp on the toolkit), and staying committed to continuous improvement.
-
The program is $10,000.
One cohort pays back your certification in about three months.

Head of Business Development
-
This is Cohd’s first dedicated business development role. The role itself is part building, part closing.
You’ll build the strategy. Working alongside the founder, you’ll shape how Cohd grows. How we build our network. How we get in front of the right founders & CEOs. What systems keep new opportunities coming, from referral programs to partnerships and beyond.
You’ll run the plays. You’ll build relationships, start sales conversations, own the pipeline, and close. The founder is in it with you, supporting deals and stepping in where she adds the most value. But the pipeline is yours.

Description text goes hereBuild the system. Help design the strategy, process, and tools to make business development repeatable for Cohd.
Open doors. Find and start conversations with founders and CEOs of 100- to 200-person, founder-led companies.
Close deals. Run the process from first conversation to signed contract. You own getting it over the finish line.
Bring the founder in at the right moment. Together, you will figure out where the founder adds the most value in a sale, then build that into the process.
Hand off well. Build strong multi-year client relationships and integrate our coaches with care. Stay connected as those relationships grow.
-
Cohd’s magic has always been the client relationships we’ve developed. 95% of our clients have become multi-year, multi-cohort partners. We look for the right organizations that share our commitment.
In one year, success looks like:
10 new client organizations
20 new cohorts launched
Create a business development system that works for you and Cohd
-
5 to 8 years in sales or business development. L&D experience not required.
Experience selling high-value services is a plus.
You understand how businesses actually run. You know what a healthy culture can look like, and you’re passionate about helping clients achieve it.
You’re ambitious and a self-starter. You don’t wait to be told what to do.
You love building relationships. You’re comfortable sitting across from a founder or CEO, and they trust you quickly.
You’re direct, energetic, and persuasive.
You’re collaborative, but you don’t need daily direction. The founder is your partner and a sounding board, not a manager of your calendar.
You care about the mission. You care about making organizations stronger and workplaces better for the people in them.
You practice what we teach. You’re excited to go through the Elevate Program yourself, use the tools day to day, and keep growing at work.
Bonus: an existing network in Kansas City (or wherever you are located) that reaches organizations who’d be a great fit for Cohd. description
